Wat Pha Lay-Lai is located on Malaiman Road in Rua Yai subdistrict, Mueang district in Suphanburi province Thailand. and is old temple about 1200 years old.
เป็นวัดที่มีประวัติศาสตร์ยาวนาน เปิดให้เข้าชมทุกวัน เวลา 8.00 น.- 17.00 น. แต่วันนี้เรามาช้า วัดกำลังจะปิดพอดี
The temple has a long history. Open daily 8 am. - 5 pm. but today I came late so the temple will closed soon.
ชาวบ้านเรียกว่า "วัดป่า" ภายในวิหาร เป็นที่ประดิษฐานหลวงพ่อโต ปางป่าเลไลยก์ เป็นพระก่ออิฐถือปูนขนาดใหญ่ มีความสูงถึง 23.47 เมตร รอบองค์ 11.20 เมตร หลวงพ่อโต เป็นพระพุทธรูปปางป่าเลไลยก์ ศิลปะสมัยอู่ทอง สุพรรณภูมิ (คือประทับนั่งห้อยพระบาท) ภายในองค์พระพุทธรูปบรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุไว้ 36 องค์ ที่ได้มาจากพระมหาเถรไลยลาย
The local people like to called this temple is "Wat Pha", inside havea large Buddha statue name is Luang Phor Tho is Authong Art Suwanabhum, built by the cement and brick with a height 23.47 meters, by around body of 11.20 meters. Inside of The Buddha statue have the relics at 36 parts.

วัดนี้ยังเป็นสถานที่สำคัญในวรรณคดีเรื่อง "ขุนช้าง-ขุนแผน" ของรัชกาลที่ 2 โดยรอบๆ วิหารของหลวงพ่อโต มีจิตรกรรมฝาผนังเล่าเรื่องราวของขุนช้าง-ขุนแผน ตั้งแต่เริ่มเรื่อง จนถึงตอนสุดท้าย เป็นภาพที่สวยงาม และได้ความรู้ในวิถีชิวิตคนไทยสมัยก่อนด้วย
This temple is important of literature "Khun Chang - Khun Phan"of King Rama 2. Which on the wall have painting murals in Wat Pha Lay-Lai talk about 3 lover by 2 men with 1 lady and she was alleged the lady's 2 minds and killed her by death penalty. All painting murals are beautiful photos and great to learn about old Thai culture.

ขุนแผนหรือ พลายแก้ว เป็นลูกของขุนไกรพลพ่าย และนางทองประศรี เกิดที่จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี / ขุนแผน
He is Khun Phaen or Plai Kaew, his dsd is Khun Krai Phon Pai and mom is Nang Thong Prasri. Born in Suphanburi city.
ขุนช้าง เป็นเศรษฐีของเมืองสุพรรณบุรี และ นางพิมกำลังหนี ไม่ยอมเข้าพิธีแต่งงานด้วย ขุนช้าง
Khun Chang is a wealthy of Suphanburi city and Nang Pim is ran away, not want married with him.
ด้านหลังวิหารหลวงพ่อโต มีวิหารหลังเล็กเป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปหลวงพ่อดำ ที่ชาวบ้านเคารพศัรทธาเช่นกัน
The back of chapel of Luang phor Tho is a small chapel to enshrined of Buddha statue name is Luang Phor Dam and local people is respect as well.
ถึงเวลาต้องปิดประตูวิหารหลวงพ่อโตแล้ว นักท่องเที่ยวต้องออกจากวิหารก่อน 17.00 น. แต่บริเวณวัดภายนอก ยังมีสิ่งก่อสร้างที่สวยงาม วิจิตรบรรจงอีกมากมาย และมีสินค้าจากชาวบ้านแถวนั้นมาขายด้วย ด้านหลังวัดมี “คุ้มขุนช้าง” ซึ่งสร้างเป็นเรือนไทยไม้สักหลังใหญ่ ตามบทพรรณนาเรือนของขุนช้างในวรรณคดีเรื่อง "ขุนช้าง-ขุนแผน" แต่เราไม่ได้เข้าไปชมค่ะ เพราะหมดเวลาสำหรับการเยี่ยมชมแล้ว
The visitors just get out from the chapel before 5 pm. for close the door but out side area of temple still have many building with a beautiful and many products of local people where stay near the temple. And back side of temple have Thai House Old Style or "Khum Khun Chang" built by teakwood, open 8 am. - 5 pm. but over time for me right now.
