ซึ่งก่อนที่เดินไปที่ตลาดน้ำนั้น เราควรเข้าไปนมัสการหลวงพ่อมงคลมาลานิมิตร พระพุทธสำคัญในพระอุโบสถเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลซะก่อน
วัดลำพญามีอายุกว่า 150 ปี จุดเด่นของวัดคือ พระอุโบสถหลังใหม่นี้สร้างในปี พ.ศ.2494 ถือเป็นโบสถ์ "หนึ่งเดียวในแผ่นดิน" ที่มีประตู 6 บานใน 4 ทิศ คือ มีประตูกลางโบสถ์ที่หันหน้าลงแม่น้ำนครชัยศรี ซึ่งโดยปกติของโบสถ์มักจะมีประตูหน้าหลัง 2-4 ประตู แต่ที่นี่มีถึง 6 ประตู ภายในโบสถ์เป็นที่ประดิษฐานของพระพุทธรูปศักดิ์สิทธิ์ "หลวงพ่อมงคลมานิมิต" พระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย สูง 1.70 แมตร หน้าตักกว้าง 1.30 เมตร เล่าสืบกันมาว่าองค์เดิมเป็นพระพุทธรูปสร้างด้วยศิลาแลงขนาดเล็ก มีผู้พบอยู่กลางทุ่งนาหลังเสียกรุงศรีอยุธยาแล้ว จึงนำมาเก็บรักษาไว้ที่กรุงเทพฯ ต่อมาประมาณปี พ.ศ.2400 จึงอัญเชิญมาประดิษฐานในอุโบสถวัดลำพญา และพอกด้วยปูนซีเมยต์ทับไว้อย่างที่เห็นในปัจจุบัน

Wat Lam Phaya is over 150 years old, Highlight of the temple is a new chapel was built in 1951, considered as "The chapel only 1 of SIAM" because it have 6 doors in 4 side with the doors at middle wall of the chapel for can walk to the river. Which normally of the temple is have the doors at the front and back the chapel at least 2-4 doors but this chapel have to 6 doors. "Luang Por Mongkol Mala Nimit" a main Buddha statue of the temple is enshrined within the chapel. Buddha statue is a high 1.70 m. and wide 1.30 m. Which a legend, the original Buddha statue was built with the small laterite, someone has found in soil in the rice field after collapse of Ayutthaya City, then took to kept in Bangkok. Later in year 1857 then took back to this temple and took a cement covered as seen in the present.
บริเวณที่จัดเป็นตลาดนั้นมีแม่ค้า พ่อค้าจำนวนมากที่ตั้งร้านอยู่บริเวณเขื่อนริมแม่น้ำ และในแพหน้าวัดลำพญา ความยาวกว่า 200 เมตร มีหลากหลายทั้งสินค้าและอาหารที่นี่ราคาไม่แพง รับรองว่าเลือกซื้อกันไม่ถูกกันเลยทีเดียว เพราะน่าซื้อไปหมดซะทุกอย่าง นอกจากนี้หากต้องการพักค้างคืนที่นี่ก็มีโฮมสเตย์บริการ

There are a variety both the products and foods at an affordable price. Confirm that you can't to choose to buy because maybe you can bought it all lol. However if you want to stay overnight here, have the Homestay service too.

Also there is the service boat be take to see views two side and the living of the local people of the Nakhon Chai-Sri River or Tha Chin River, with a information guide and take time about 2.5 hours. You can bought the foods from the floating market to be enjoyed in the boat. Boat will stopped at Coco D Coconut is OTOP shop selling about coconut oil healthy products and Wat Bang Phra a temple which a popular about Luang Por Pern a monk who was abbot of the temple which the local people are respect him.
