Wat Sai Mai is located at Khu Kot subdistrict in Lum Luk Ka district, Pathum Thani province Thailand. The temple built in the year 1898 in the reign of King Rama 5. By Mom Rachawong Ying Noi and Mom-Luang Num, who are the relatives in the royal family.
หม่อมราชวงศ์หญิงน้อย และ หม่อมหลวงนุ่ม ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของที่ดิน มีเนื้อที่ 7 ไร่ 35 ตารางวา มีจิตศรัทธายกให้เป็นที่สร้างวัด และ ให้ใช้ชื่อตามหมู่บ้านว่า "วัดสายไหม" ต่อมาในปี พ.ศ. 2514 ทางวัดได้จัดซื้อที่ดิน ขยายขอบเขตวัดออกไปอีก 7 ไร่ 12 ตารางวา ปัจจุบันวัดมีที่ดินตั้งวัด 14 ไร่ 1 งาน 99 ตารางวา
โดยได้รับพระบรมราชานุญาต เมื่อ ปีจอ พ.ศ. 2441 และได้รับพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมา เมื่อ วันที่ 12 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2449
Mom Rachawong Ying Noi and Mom-Luang Num, who are the relatives in the royal family. Which owns land with an area of than 7 Rai (acres). Donors are gave the land to build the temple and called name same a village named "Wat Sai Mai". Later in year 1971, the temple has purchased land to expand the area more than 7 Rai (acres). Current the area of the temple more than 14 Rai (acres) and has Wisung-Khamsima from The King on August 12, 1956.

ด้านหลังของอาคารนี้เป็นกุฏิสงฆ์ เดิมเป็นอาคารไม้ทรงไทยโบราณ ซึ่งสร้างเมื่อ พ.ศ.2541 ก่อนที่จะปรับปรุงเป็นอาคารคอนกรีตอย่างในปัจจุบันนี้
The back of this building is the cubicle of monks. The original building was made of wood Thai ancient model, which was built in 1998. Before improvement to as the concrete buildings in the present.
ศาลาการเปรียญหลังใหม่ (เดิมศาลาการเปรียญเป็นแบบเปิดโล่งไม่มีฝาผนัง) สร้างด้วยไม้ ทั้งภายในและ ภายนอกแกะสลักด้วยลวดลายที่วิจิตรสวยงาม ยกพื้นอาคารขึ้นสูง กว้าง 18 เมตร ยาว 26 เมตร ภายในเป็นที่ประดิษฐานของพระพุทธรูปทรงเครื่องกษัตย์ 2 องค์ ศาลานี้ให้เป็นที่ทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ เช่น การทำบุญในวันพระ มีเก้าอี้ให้ญาติโยมได้นั่งฟังพระเทศนาอย่างสะดวกสบาย
The new merit hall (an old merit hall was an open building, no walls) is wooden building both inside and outside carved with beautiful patterns. The building floor raised height, with 18 meters wide and 26 meters long. Inside is enshrined 2 Buddha statues wear dress of the king. This hall for activities such as for the people doing the merit in Buddhist days with the chairs to sit and listen to the sermon, comfortably.
ศาลาท่าน้ำ ซึ่งเป็นคลองชื่อ คลองหกวา

วิหารหลวงปู่ญัติ อุต.ตโม สร้างเมื่อพ.ศ.2533 เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธโสธรจำลอง และ รูปหล่อพระอธิการญัติ อุต.ตโม หลวงปู่ญัติ อุตฺตโม อดีตเจ้าอาวาสวัดสายไหมรูปแรก และ เป็นเจ้าคณะหมวดกลางสายไหมมาจนถึงปี พ.ศ. 2490 ท่านจึงมรณภาพ งานบำเพ็ญกุศลวันคล้ายวันมรณภาพหลวงปู่ญัติ และ อดิตเจ้าอาวาส รูปอื่นๆ จัดขึ้นทุกปีประมาณเดือนสิงหาคม โดยกำหนดการพิธีทำบุญเริ่มตั้งแต่เวลา 10.00 - 12.00 น.
Viharn Luang Pu Yat was built in year 1990 is enshrined Phra Phuttha Sothorn Buddha statue replica and a statue of Luang Phu Yat the monk who was a first abbot of this Wat Sai Mai until in year 1947 he had passed away. Ceremony Philanthropy Day of Luang Phu yat and former abbots will held every year about on August. The ceremony scheduled to start at 10:00 to 12:00 hrs.
ศาลาเอนกประสงค์ ไว้สำหรับญาติโยม ทำกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวกับพระพุทธศาสนาที่ไม่ตรงกับวันพระ เช่น การทำบุญถวายสังฆทาน การทำบุญให้ผู้ที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว

พระอุโบสถ สร้างเมื่อ พ.ศ.2508 กว้าง 7.50 เมตร ยาว 22 เมตร พระประธานในอุโบสถเป็นพระพุทธชินราชจำลอง หน้าตักกว้าง 3 ศอก ขณะนี้ทางวัดได้ทำการบรูณะปรับปรุงเนื่องจากได้รับความเสียหายจากเมื่อครั้งน้ำท่วมใหญ่ ปี พ.ศ. 2554 โดยการยกพื้นของพระอุโบสถขึ้น 1.8 เมตร
The chapel was built in 1965 with 7.50 meters wide and 22 meters long. Phra Phuttha Chinnarat Buddha statue replica width of 3 cubits is enshrined within. Now the temple is renovating due to has damage from flood on the year 2011 by raised the floor of the chapel up 1.8 meters.
ศาลาการเปรียญหลังใหญ่ จะเปิดทุกวันที่ 5 ของเดือน เพื่อทำการสวดมนต์ เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และ ยังมีโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรม กว้าง 9 เมตร ยาว 30 เมตร เดิมสร้างเมื่อ พ.ศ.2525 หอสวดมนต์ กว้าง 14 เมตร ยาว 31.5 เมตร สร้างเมื่อ พ.ศ.2533
The Large Hall will open 5th date of the month to chanting and prayers as royal charity for The King Rama 9 and also have the Buddhist Scripture School with 9 meters for wide and 30 meters long, originally built in 1982. Buddhist Scripture Hall for 14 meters wide and 31.5 meters long built in 1990.
วัดสายไหม เป็นวัดที่สืบมาจากทางรามัญ เนื่องจากชาวบ้านบางตลาด อำเภอปากเกร็ด จังหวัดนนทบุรี ที่ได้อพยพมาตั้งถิ่นฐานเป็นหมู่บ้านสายไหม ดั้งเดิมนั้นเป็นชาวรามัญ ในสมัยที่หลวงปู่ญัติ เป็นเจ้าอาวาส พระที่วัดสายไหมสวดมนต์เป็นภาษารามัญ และ มีสัญลักษณ์คือ รูปหงส์หล่อ 2 ตัว ยืนอยู่บนยอดเสา ซึ่งถูกขโมยไป 1 ตัว วัดจึงมีพิธีเททองหล่อพญาหงส์ ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของชนชาวมอญที่มีต่อบวรพระพุทธศาสนา เพื่อประดิษฐานยังเสาหงส์หน้าศาลาการเปรียญใหญ่ ในวันเสาร์ที่ 22 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2556 เวลา 15.00 น. ณ ลานพิธีภายในวัดสายไหม
Wat Sai Mai is the temple derived from the Raman who is one tribe in Myanmar. Because locals people from Bang Talad in Pak Kret district, Nonthaburi province has the evacuation of settlers called Sai Mai Village. In during time of Luang Phu Yat is the abbot of Wat Sai Mai, all the monks are chanting in Raman language. A symbol is 2 Swan stand on top pillars which 1 was stolen. The temple has ceremony to pouring to cast Swan which is the symbol of the Raman or Mon people who faithfully the Buddhism. To enshrined on top pole, front a large hall. On Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 15.00 hrs., At a ceremony yard of Wat Sai Mai.

The cubicle of Phra Archan Odd is the abbot of Wat Sai Mai since 2010 till right now. The wooden building Thai style is surrounded with shade of trees, fish pond with waterfall in the garden.
