Wat Tham Suea is a temple with a Buddha statue is the largest in Kanchanaburi province. Located in Tha Moung district, Kanchanaburi province Thailand. If you came from Bangkok, it still not to the Kanchanaburi City, have the label for go to Mea Klong Dam that is same the road and just pass the dam about 5 Km.
วัดถ้ำเสือ เปิดทุกวัน จันทร์ - ศุกร์: เวลา 8.30-16.30 น. และเสาร์ - อาทิตย์: เปิดเวลา 8.00-16.30 น.
Wat Tham Suea is open daily: Monday - Friday: 8:30 to 16:30 hrs. and Saturday - Sunday : 8:00 to 16:30 hrs.
รูปหล่อเจ้าอาวาสหลวงพ่อสิงห์ เป็นพระธุดงค์ที่มาพบถ้ำเสือ เดิมเป็นเพียงสำนักสงฆ์เล็กๆ ที่อยู่ในบริเวณถ้ำเสือด้านล่างริมเนินเขา หลวงพ่อชื่น เป็นผู้พัฒนา และ บูรณะปฏิสังขรวัด ในภายหลัง

วัดตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขา ส่วนทางขึ้นไปข้างบนนั้นมี 2 ทาง คือ เดินขึ้นบันไดไป จำนวน 157 ขั้น ชันประมาณ 60 องศา กับ ขึ้นรถกระเช้าไป 10 บาท

ปี พ.ศ. 2527 ได้มีการก่อสร้าง "พระเจดีย์เกศแก้วปราสาท" ที่ใช้เวลาในการก่อสร้างนานถึง 7 ปี เป็นเจดีย์ทรงแปดเหลี่ยม สีส้มอิฐ มีความสูง 75 เมตร ซุ่งมี 9 ชั้น และ มีพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ ประดิษฐานอยู่ที่ชั้นบนสุด

Luang Phor Chin Prathanporn Buddha Statue was begin building in year 1973. With 9 wah, 9 inches high and a width 5 wah, 3 feet 9 inches. The Buddha is decorated with the golden tiles and on the his palm is a circle of Thammachak.
