Wat Chai Watthanaram is located in Ban Pom sub district, Muang district in Ayutthaya province Thailand. Located off the island of Ayutthaya, the west coast of Chao Phraya River. Built in the reign of King Prasat Thong.

บริเวณด้านทิศตะวันออกของแนวระเบียงคดซึ่งเป็นด้านหน้าของวัด และเป็นเส้นทางสู่แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยานั้น ยังมีซากฐานของพระอุโบสถขนาดใหญ่ ยาว 52.75 เมตร กว้าง 20 เมตร ซึ่งภายในมีพระพุทธรูปหินทราย ปางมารวิชัย จำนวน 3 องค์ ประทับอยู่ด้านหน้าของพระอุโบสถ
